Terms And Conditions Of Hire

RATES
Our rates includes standard Loss or Damage Cover, unlimited klm, registration recovery fees. Petrol is the responsibility of the hirer. Our rates change occasionaly however once you have booked your vehicle the rates on your booking are guaranteed.
LOSS OR DAMAGE COVER







STANDARD COVER
Standard Loss or Damage cover is included free in our rates. Standard Cover covers Multi vehicle accidents, third party damage, theft and windscreen damage. A damage liability is payable in the event of loss or damage arising from any of these events. Example $2750 for most sedans. Not covered however is single vehicle damage or hail damage. This is only covered with Premium Cover. Sufficient funds must be available on the cardholders credit card at the time of rental to cover the Damage Liability Fee.
LIABILITY REDUCTION WAIVER (LRW)
The Liability Reduction Waiver provides cover with a reduced Liability which covers Multi vehicle accidents, third party damage, theft and windscreen damage. A damage liability is payable in the event of loss or damage arising from any of these events. Example $300 for most sedans. Not covered however is single vehicle damage or hail damage. This is only covered with Premium Cover. Sufficient funds must be available on the cardholders credit card at the time of rental to cover the Damage Liability Fee.
PREMIUM LIABILITY REDUCTION (PLR)
The Premium Liability Reduction Waiver (PLR) is a premium damage cover which offers zero liability in the event of Multi vehicle accidents, third party damage, theft of vehicle, windscreen damage, single vehicle damage and hail. Total peace of mind. The Toyota Hiace 12 seater vans however do not have a zero liability and are still subject to a small damage liability.
BOND / DEPOSIT / PAYMENT OF CHARGES
Payment is not collected until the day of pick up. No deposit is payable if you have selected a zero excess. If your rental has a damage liability then the applicable liability will be pre authorized at the time of pick up. If your rental is longer than 30 days we will need to charge the damage liability fee in full and refund it a few days after your return, subject to there being no damage or loss. This is regardless of whether you have travel insurance or not. If your Damage Liability is not over $500 then no pre authorization is required. The Cardholder must be present at time of rental. We accept Visa and MasterCard. We also accept EFTPOS card, cash or direct bank transfer but with the condition that it is compulsory to take out our Premium Liability Reduction option. A deposit equal to the Damage Liability Fee is payable in addition to the rental fee, the deposit is refundable upon return of the vehicle in undamaged condition subject to a final inspection. Local renters are subject to additional qualifying procedures and are also required to pay a deposit.
KILOMETRES
Unlimited KLM are provided with all our vehicles subject to usage within the area of use.
TOLLS
When you rent one of our vehicles we have tried to make setting up tolls as easy as we can for you. Our vehicles are fitted with toll tags and all vehicle registrations are added to our account. When you travel through a toll point we will then process your tolls through our system and they will be automatically charged to the credit card you supply us. Linkt will charge our account and we will pass on to you the cost of the toll plus a $1 processing fee.
DRIVERS LICENCES
All hirers must have a full current drivers license which may be from any state in Australian, Overseas domestic or International.
MINIMUM / MAXIMUM AGE
Minimum age for rental is 21 years, the maximum is 75 years. Drivers aged between 21-25 are not permitted to drive some categories of vehicles and a surcharge and higher damage liability may apply.
AREA OF USE OF VEHICLES
Most vehicles are required to be used within a 250-400 Klm radius. Rentals outside this area can be organized but must be approved prior to the rental and a surcharge may apply. All vehicles are for on road use only. Area Of Use Map
HOTEL / MOTEL DELIVERIES
Pick up from your Hotel, Motel. Residential or Business address is provided and is subject to a minimum rental period and/or a small fee.
GOLD COAST AIRPORT DELIVERIES
We offer a meet and greet service at both the Domestic and International terminals, We provide a free shuttle bus pick up and drop off service from the terminals to our office only a few minutes drive. Upon collection of your bags make your way to the meeting point at the international end of the terminal outside at the shuttle bus meeting point and call 07-56252588, or 1800241622 or 0420642339

BABY SEATS, BOOSTER SEATS AND GPS NAVIGATION UNITS
A good selection of approved reversible baby seats and booster seats available for children of all ages. The rates for baby capsules or baby seats is $4.40 per day with a maximum of $33 per rental or for booster seats $4.40 per day with a maximum of $33 per rental. From March 2010 Queensland law will require all children under the age of 7 to sit in an approved car restraint. GPS NAVIGATION UNITS are available for rent at $4.40 per day with a maximum of $33 per rental. For more information on choosing the correct restraint for your child please see QLD Transport Website
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation fee apply as follows No cancel fee shall be payable providing you give us more than 7 days notice from your pick up time. If you cancel booking within 24 hours - 7 days - a $100 cancellation fee shall be payable If you cancel within 24 hours or fail to arrive / collect vehicle - up to the full amount of the rental will be payable.
